A collections account of $129.00 was posted in my experian credit report by Allied Interstate, I have absolutely no clue to whom I owe this amount. I really don't know how to contact this company, nor do I know who they represent.

Apparently Allied Interstate publishes any amount they please arbitrarily, and you get stuck with a deragatory collections account on all three credit bureaus for the next seven years.It is a real crock where these bureaus publish and make public such accounts without any kind of investigation and free from any punitive measures they surely deserve.

I'm waiting for Allied to use illegal practices. The person that is calling is || this close to crossing the line

Once crossed I will file suit and nail them.

Allied Interstate have been calling me for a defaulted student loan from 20 yrs. ago. That loan was condoned at the time because the school closed, a few years before Pres. Clinton decided that student loans never prescribed, now they say I have to pay or they garnish my salary. Today one of them Guys called saying that my check for the first payment bounced, I told him that nothing could have bounced because I have not sent any payments because they have not sent me proof of what I owe, if anything, then he says that the letter they sent was returned to them. Are they just fishing to see what they can catch?

Knowingly publishing false information (the $129 entry, in this case) may put Experian on the wrong end of a libel suit.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I just noticed that Allied Interstate has put on my report a collection for $277 and I also have no idea what the details are on this debt. There is no way to contact this company. If anyone knows how to contact or deal with this company it would be nice to know.

"I work for allied interstate and we dont reports to the credit bereaus our clients do" ... I generally dont reports to the credit bereaus our clients do either... whatever that means; has anyone else noticed that folks that post here who claim to be from Allied Interstate have the worst spelling & grammar out of all the posts? Even if Allied's RULES are within the law, apparenlty their employees can't INTERPRET those rules.
