Allied interstate: Rude and condescending

Allied calls constatnly when they know I am not at work, then when I call back I can never get put throught on who I need. I'm sure they are logging it as me not returning their calls. How dare they hassel me while my husband is on disability. I told them I am worried about feeding my kids and putting a roof over my head...of course that dopesn't matter. When something awful happens in their family, maybe they will understand. They are unwilling to set up payment plans. they don't want to give you an address for correspondence. ***, they called my parents and i haven't lived with them in over 20 years!!

To stop the calls (and tell your parents to do this as well if they still receive the calls from Allied) call their parent company, iQor formerly known as IRMC [1-80*-***-****]. They are much nicely and will have your name off the Allied list in 24-48 hours guaranteed.

Large companies use BloodSuckers like Allied International to extort money from people who did not pay a debt. If the debt is old, it is sold to whoever will buy it for pennies on the dollar. Most of them are not even collectible and Allied International demands payment to enforce a legal reinstatement of the debt through intimidation tactics.

Send Allied a certified letter to not call you on the telephone, and you will only accept written communications from them. There are some pre-formatted letters on the Internet that you can send by adding the address and other important info, always include the certified label number in the letter. Pay for the return receipt to prove it was received, it is the only way to verify delivery and it is approved by most courts.

To learn how to deal with collection agencies, search for debt collection and how to fight them under the 'fair debt collection practices act' FDCPA. Always remember to never talk to them on the telephone, it is never in your best interest.

I can believe it... I think Verizon and other companies need to drop these Allied Interstate idiots, because they are giving the commerce they serve a bad reputation because of their attitude and phone manners.

Allied: Beyond Rude

I have had a run in with allied regarding an old phone bill. We switched companies and then all the sudden we were turned over to collection. I had tried to explain to them I just started a new job and as soon as I got my first check that bill would be paid in full. They don't want to hear anything you try to tell them, they just stated we're marking your account refusal to pay. I did NOT refuse to pay, But when people get paid every 2 weeks, and you live paycheck to paycheck, you can't pull money out of your butt. One day their jobs isn't going to be secure and they all will be in the same boat.

I have been receiving calls from many telemarketers. I usually do not answer them but, last night i did.

The person on the other line was from allied. She started to tell me that i owe money for a contract i supposedly broke with directv. They said i signed a contract with them for 2 years and they are charging me for early termination. First off i never signed a contract or anything with directv.

I tell this person from allied this and she continues to say that i did. I said well send me a copy of the contract with my signature. She rudely said you don't have a copy. I said no they never gave me one.

Let me back track the day before i spoke to directv and told them pretty much the same thing that i never signed a contract. She gave me an address to send a letter to, to dispute the charges. She told me if allied calls let them know you are in dispute. So when allied called last night I told the girl on the phone this.

She starts getting really rude and yelling at me saying just pay your bills, be a big girl and pay your bills. She did not even let me get a word in. She kept yelling it over and over again. What kind of company is this.

How are consumers suppose to take this seriously. If we have to deal with idiots like that. So i called back and asked to speak to a supervisor to place a complaint. He was just as rude (Jim serrano).

He pretty much said i deserved to be spoken to like that. I said i would like this person repremanded for the way she spoke to me. He said he will talk to her. But you know nothing is going to be done.

I asked for his boss he said (of course he was on vacation) While i was telling my fiance this that his boss was on vacation. Mr serrano asked me who i was talking to. I said it was none of his concern.

How are you suppose to get anything straightened out when you have to deal with *** like this. Who whould rather waste the phone call putting you down and calling you names then get the s**i straightened out.

I just got a phone call from Allied Interstate. The name came up on my caller ID and I usually don't answer calls if I don't know who they are from but I answered this one unfortunately.

I answered the call because I am on the "do not call" registry and I wanted who ever it was to know they are not suppose to call!!!

Anyway...I say "hello" and immediately started hearing music. That pissed me off so I started pressing buttons. I don't know why, I just did. I then heard the person saying "hello" with a foreign accent. She didn't identify herself nor the company she was calling from until I almost pulled her through the phone line!!!!

She asked for me by my first name but wouldn't say who SHE was. I had already had a bad day at work so I gave her the business.

I firmly 'educated' her on phone ediquette (?). When you make a phone call, the CALLER identifies themselves and THEN asks to speak to the person they need to speak to. She hestitantly said her name was Karen. I then asked her "what company are you calling from?" She didn't want to say. She continued asking for me by my first name. I told her that there was no way in *** she was going to talk to ANYONE in my house without disclosing WHAT company and WHY the call. She told me to calm down and THAT made me even madder. She told me she couldn't tell me anything so I said, "Okay, whatever". I hung up.

I looked the company up on Google and found it then found this website. The reason she called is because one of my credit cards hasn't been paid so they sent me to collections. What Karen doesn't know is that I have a credit repair company working for me and I am not suppose to disclose any information to any creditor. All that stuff goes through the credit management company.

I love telling people off when they're rude or just plain ***. :(

Calling Constantly and Rude

Allied Interstate has been calling our business line for days asking for someone that used to have our telephone number. We have had this phone number for over two years. I called them to stop calling us and they were rude and crude. She would not listen, she put me on hold and told me it would take a while for it to take affect. While I was on hold with her, someone else from their office called on the other line. I don't know the person they are trying to call and I have told them over and over again. I asked to speak to the manager. I can't believe she is a manager, in charge of people, one of the rudest people I have ever spoken too. I can't believe they are in business!

We had them calling our business line too -though I never got the joy of speaking with a "live" person -we always got the "This is Melissa calling from AL with a very important message for someone at this #. Please call us back at 800..." *** people.

Anyway I learned the following:

Call their parent company, iQor formerly known as IRMC [1-80*-***-****]. They are much nicely and will have your name off the Allied list in 24-48 hours guaranteed.

I had some dealings with Allied Interstate also...

The best thing you can do is to NEVER speak to a debt collector on the phone. To stop the telephone harassment, write them a formal letter to cease and desist all telephone calls to your home and place of employment; indicate that you will only accept written communications regarding any account due.

If the bill is not yours, demand Allied to verify it is an enforceable debt known as debt validation. This account may be from a junk debt buyer who is trying to collect on a debt where the statute of limitations has expired. Do some research, send a certified letter requiring a signature and contact the consumer protection division with the attorney general in your state if necessary.

Good luck dealing with these blood suckers.

Allied Interstate Collection Agency

I spoke to my creditor directly to make payment arraingments. Because I didnt want or am able to pay the 18% upcharge along with the penalities and interset they are going to charge. The creditor agreed to this arraingment and stated that once the debt is paid they would withdraw from the collection agency. Allied used threats to tell me that this was not possible and the creditor had no rights to make this agreement. I need them to stop calling me. What can I do? This is not how I wish to continue each day. This company calls me 4-5 times daily at home. They call me at work and this must stop.

If someone has their physical address and the names of the owners of this company, please post it. I will visit them if I can get an address and I guarantee that their calls will stop.

Please post their address and the owner's(or CEO)name or the state where they are incorporated.

they are calling the owner of my companys home phone wow

i have faxed cease and desist letters to all the fax numbers for allied interstate and have filed with the Attorney General , FTC the BBB and the ACA

These people are driving me crazy. Not only are they calling me dozens of times a day but they are calling my boss after repeated requests not to.

I am sending a certified letter and a fax tomorrow and filing complaints. this is crazy.

Guest

write a letter ceasing them from calling you

Guest

Once you or you work tells them they need to take the number out they must do so.. I work with a government collection agency...

Guest

You need to check out the fair credit act. Legally this company can not us scare tatics and bullying as away for payments.

You can also right a cease to contact letter to them and they have to stop contacting you. I would look at the law and see what you can do.

Guest

Please, right now...send a CERTIFIED LETTER to both Allied and the original creditor outlining what you explained above.

Also, in your letter, state that they cannot under any circumstances contact you at your place of employment.

You can also fax the letter. The whole point is to have proof of conversation. Talking on the phone and asking for them to pull tapes is fruitless.

This will put all parties on the same page and allow the orginal creditor to then be in the battle. Most creditors, I find, are willing to work out a pymt schedule despite having the account in collections.

IT EMPLOYS PATIENT PEOPLE LIKE ME

I just can't seem to know why people would really hate collection calls. I do know a few who have a valid reason to. like constant calling...and i think that's the only reason. simply put, if you receive a collection call, pick it up. it's not everyday you get a chance to talk to some collection agent who would help you... you might not be seeing the big picture. to the employees, I know how you feel. To the customers who have complained on this site, you might want to be a little nicer to your collectors. Sometimes, you might be faced with a job loss or sudden turnaround of fate. and it would give opportunities to people like me to call you from overseas just to try and talk a little sense into you. to those I would be calling... just answer the phone and see what we have to say... don't just hang up on us, because we'll try to keep calling you just to HELP YOU FIX your debt. You are obligated to pay for it, and I'm pretty sure you want to keep a good credit rating. it's a 2 way thing. listen to us, we listen to you... no bluffing, because conversations are documented and recorded. I'll continue to be patient with you Americans (DEBTORS). because you're on the losing end if you don't pay. ME? I don't use credit cards. and I pay my debts. I don't get pissed when I'm being bugged about it because it's a responsibility. y'all feel me? so don't wait till it goes to a recoveries agency... ALLIED INTERSTATE is really doing you a favor... Thanks for reading..

Screwing the deployed

In february of 2007 I recieved my deployment orders to go to Iraq, i went to the sprint store and gave them my orders so that they can temporarily suspend my account while im deployed. I had a final bill of almost $300 which i sent by check from kuwait at the time, and it was processed on Mar 31st. Then I talk to my stepmother and she tells me sprint has been calling my parents house. I call sprint and they tell me I owe them about $400 for cancellation fee. I never cancelled, I temporarily suspended, due to deployment, if I pay this, they are going to get sued bad when i return.

Allied Calls

I keep getting phone calls for debt owed by my brother. I have asked AIS to cease. They keep calling 8-10 times a day. I am not the person they are calling for and I have told them that. I do not have my brother's phone number or address and have told them that as well. They keep calling anyway. I need to know who to contact to stop this. This is harrassment and I have no idea why they are calling my home phone anyway. Does anyone have suggestions as to what I can do to stop this from continuing. gaxk

Collecting a debt

Hey guys, I would just like to say a few words because firstly, I am 15 years old. Allied Interstate has been calling me 3 times a day now for about 5 months. They are calling someone I don't even know, and they want to collect a debt. The fact that I'm 15 years old and I have never had a credit card is what I don't understand. Isn't it illegal to be calling an under-aged guy about debt? I think something should be done with this. I wish I knew who to contact, but I don't. They call me in the morning. They call me while I'm at school. They call me at night. I called my cell phone provider to see if I can block this number, but I can't because my cell phone doesn't have that option. Thanks, and this is my revie.
